recommendation for yard, person for rudder post/tube work. Long beach area
looking at a boat that has rudder post/bearings problems; aluminum post on boat and the bearings are aluminum also i guess because they corroded and now expanding at cap of tube causing the fiberglass to break away from stringer. looking for a yard in and around long beach that you would recommend and perhaps an independent contractor that would have expertise in this work.
i'm also looking at if there are any yards in socal that allow DIY work?
any help is appreciated.
