Recauking Teak Deck

While checking out a boat I am seriously considering, we noticed the caulk between the teak deck looked like it was dried out and cracking. Although maybe cosmetic, it is noticeable, although not yet downright ugly.
The decking itself is glued on, not screwed. This 53 ft. boat was built in 1998.
The broker just showed me a survey done about a year ago for insurance where the surveyor noted the same thing. His recommendation was to "reef out and re-caulk. He also noted the teak was "still fairly adhered to the deck".

How hard of a job is it to re-caulk a teak deck? Is it something I should want to tackle? How expensive is it to have done and where on the East Coast would be the most cost effective place to do it?

Re: Recauking Teak Deck

Must be done, but ensure there is still enough teak left to justify the work.
Can de done DIY, will take about 1 months of work for a 50 foot boat.
Many YouTube videos available ... you can judge yourself if you feel up to it.
