Pvc Foam Board as Deck Coring

While building some seats out of pvc foam board, I got to wondering about its use as a deck coring material. Seems light stiff and sturdy and accepts glues well. Anybody got any experience here?

Re: Pvc Foam Board as Deck Coring

I believe Klegecell, a popular core alternative to balsa, is in fact an expanded PVC foam. Not sure what material you're working with on your seating project.
