Prout Quasar 50 Rebuild

Has anyone seen the 1983 Prout Quasar 50 in the BVI for sale? needs rebuild. they are asking $60K... What do you guys think it would cost to rebuild this boat? The ad says bottom and topside in decent shape, So Im thinking standing rigging, sails, both engines, wiring and plumbing and the rebuild of interior. and whatever else i cant think of...would $250K do it? if so, then im thinking $300K for a complete rebuilt 50ft cat doesnt seem too bad...anyway thoughts??? let me know what you guys think...thanks Heres the link to the vessel

If 250K for a Prout 50 floats your boat, then by all means.
However fully rebuilt versions don't run that high.
Remember this is a 34+ year old boat, and while I personally love the old Prouts, but there is a limit to their worth in financial terms.

Don't underestimate the work involved in refitting this boat, it is huge!
True they don't have the space of a more modern 45 foot cat, but it is still a serious amount of space.
