propane cylinder valve

My horizontal Aluminum cylinders have served me well for many years but now the valves are failing. The newer valves will not fit. Any suggestions for finding a pre 1998 Worthington 10 lb tank?

Re: propane cylinder valve

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, guayacan.
In Canada, portable propane cylinders must be inspected and requalified every 10 years.

Re: propane cylinder valve

Valves can be replaced at places that sell welding gas etc. if they do recerts. of tanks. If not new tanks?

Re: propane cylinder valve/stove burner problem

Thanks, a friend dissembled the valve, replaced a gasket/o-ring or something and all is well. Now, one burner of my stove is no longer adjustable, there is barely a flame. What now?
