Princess Range Model 3174 question

Just installed six new Lifeline batteries and then a Sanyo 215 watt solar panel and MPPT Controller to keep it all charged. While sitting there with an Iced Tea in hand, smiling at the significant improvement made to our boating life, my wife asks me for the tenth time if I would please look at her Princess Range...

"This front burner will no longer remain lit!"

So. put the tea down and checked with my on-board mechanic... Nigel C.,...he says it appears to be the thermocouple which may have quit "coupling". After poking and prodding for several minutes looking for a release lever, I fail to see how the range top lifts for access to all the burner plumbing. Can anyone tell me how to access the thermocouple beneath the Princess range top?

Gotta keep the Co-Captain happy too,

Bill
