Apply with a sponge. Bird poop comes right off with just water hose pressure.
Not slippery either.

I don’t know about Zep but the Poliglow stripper doesn’t harm vc17.

Re: Poli Glow

The Zep floor stripper didn't affect the anti-fouling at all. But it sure dissolved the many coats of Poli Glo.

Hull still looking good. Have done a little touch up from the dinghy 5 months ago. Haven’t even washed the hull and it’s still looking good.

Exactly. It's not perfect, but it's a good product, imo.

Good on ya for being willing to give it a go....and for reporting back.

Re: Poli Glow

Just an update:

I needed to strip near the water line as back when I applied my first treatment there was still some ICW brown "smile", which has stayed nice and shiney for 14 months. I got some standard floor stripper from the hardware store and the Poli Glo was easy to remove while in the yard for bottom paint. Then cleaned the smile off with an acid wash and applied the Poly Glo up to the stripe that I had stripped.

relaunched the boat and went back to the marina. I the cleaned the hull and reapplied to the entire hull sides from the dinghy and dock and based on my 14 months of positive results extended the coverage of the Poli Glo as it has proven to protect muuuuuch longer than wax.

I'm happy with the results and if I really would do a good job of cleaning finish would have boat too shiney to be on without sunglasses.

Just my experience/review.

Re: Poli Glow

Well it's been another 6 months. The Poly Glo on the hull sides are doing good. It's probably about time to wash the hull and maybe apply a fresh coat, but meanwhile it's still beading water, shinely and easy to clean.

The places I extended the coating to isn't doing as well. What I've found is if the location gets a lot of skin contact (like on a cockpit edge that you are always putting your hand on) that it wears and gets sticky and dirty. So those I'm going to have to strip (it's easy with some floor stripper) and wax.
