Please send help! Seaward 25

Soon after moving, I purchases a new to me Seaward 25. The boat is much more than any of my previous sailing experience prepared me for. So I am asking for help. I have replaced two bulkheads, and filled all leaks into the cabin. I am moving on to bigger concerns. The firm I used to foot and raise my mast, did a very unsatisfactory job. I paid twice, and got half a job. I won't go back to them. the boom is lower than the top of the Bimini. I don't know how to solve this???

I want to replace all of the filters, etc. I would like to take the engine cover (Westerbeke) 20/2) completely off for maximum accessibility. I am a little timid about pulling the back of the cover off, as it rubs on the floor above, and the port side storage bulkhead. If you have one of these, you probably know how to take it off, or not!! First hand knowledge would be appreciated. There are many more issues, but solving these will get me out in the wind! Other problems are mostly maintain and improve.

I have been delayed for over two years; my slip was blown away by a tornado, we had a death in the family, I've had two serious medical procedures, (nobody has surgery anymore, everything is a procedure) and just for fun, my new dentist is preparing my mouth for several new teeth.

Any help you can offer will be appreciated. If you know this boat, please send me a note.

Re: Please send help! Seaward 25

Hake purchased Island Packet and all production moved to the Island Packet facility so it might be worth contacting them as they may have owners manuals or helpful information to assist you.
