Some time ago I had some samples of a plastic product that looked like teak and holly. I think it was self adhesive after removing a backing film. At the time we considered using it to cover an ugly floor in our boat but decided to go with teak and holly veneer plywood.


For a few dollars the manufacturer sent us a set of small samples of different finishes. Anyone have a clue as to who the manufacturer is?

There are many manufacturers for these products. I have Flexiteek installed on my boat by the manufacturer.
If I had to install it today I would go for a product based on compressed cork, flexiteak and gelcoat get awfully hot in the med.

Plasteak is what I was thinking of. Appears to be for interior use only. I'm looking for something to use in the cockpit.
