Imo the only complication would be if the hull is cored. If it is you would have to make sure to dry it out properly or replace thr core. If it is not this ios one of the simplest repairs going due to the lack of cosmetics.

Repairing it at your convenience will generally take less of" your time" than arranging to watch someone else do it,or even to arrange just having it done. Plus you learn more about your boat

It may take time to dry. Plenty of washing if you are in salt water now. Allow at lest 3 months or else force dry.

Unless the laminate is intact, but it looks like it has been compromised.
