Painting an Hallberg-Rassy 312

Hello everyone!
Another episode of the "Scratch & Win" saga. Hours and hours to scratch and finish the surface to be sprayed with the original color ..

Nice video.

If I may make a suggestion, please do yourself a huge favor and use safety equipment when spraying, or rolling and tipping for that matter. Spraying atomizes the paint and makes it much easier, and much worse to be inhaled. Some paints are worse for you, and some are much worse and can result in permanent damage.

Otherwise, it looks great.

I hope your stress cracks don’t come back but don’t be surprised if the do. 90% of those cracks go down into the first schedule of the laminate, under the gelcoat. If you don’t grind them back to good glass and repair the cracks will be back sooner rather than later.

Hmmm that’s not what you were doing in your video. You were just scraping open the gelcoat cracks.
