Re: Osmosis Blisters - Spot Repair?

Just to clear up a few things. First, I have been in the service business for over 40 years and began treating hull blisters in the early 70's. No boat has ever sank or fell apart due to blisters. Blisters will not affect the integrity or safety of the hull. Most blister repairs never have to be done and the owner can enjoy using the boat for the rest of his life. If there is a problem with hull integrity, then the problem is delamination and not blisters. We're talking apples and oranges as far as repairs between blisters and delamination. In both cases, the hull must be dried out for the repair to be done properly. Chuck
