Opening Portholes for Galley/Salon

My original 4 superstructure portholes were always a bad design
They opened outwards onto side deck. (I have the scars to prove it) and depended on rubber weather-striping and bulk of teak trim to keep the rain out… (External hinge was the leak point)

Will replace after the rainy season here in the Philippines, (over 1m rain last few days) so researching options at reasonable price for these 4 upper portholes

My cabin is steel, so was hoping to get away from alloy replacement like Lewmar, but have no sense of the quality of a Poly choice like these Beckson

In Asia, I don’t have the opportunity of handling replacement options to feel the quality before buying so hoping someone who has had experience with plastic rectangular portholes… can advise me if they know of a quality choice in plastic.

I just don’t want to automatically default to the expensive stainless steel options or worry about alloy… because I can’t sample the plastic ones

Thanks for your advice.
