Old Awlgrip or Olld Awlcraft?

Last year I polished and waxed my 1984 Nonsuch 30 with quite good results, reasonably assuming that it was gelcoat. I didn’t give it much thought until I found a reference in the “ships files” to her having been “Awlgripped” in 2001. On closer inspection I'm pretty sure I’m dealing with paint but since I got away with the compounding last year I’m skeptical that it is actually Awlgrip and thinking it is more likely Awlcraft.
My question is does anyone know of a way to tell this long after the fact which coating it is? It will make a difference to how I proceed with maintenance.

Thanks,

Paul M

You might try calling the tech support line. They are famously helpful.
