I am surprised that blue seems to have gone out of style for decks. My first cruising
boat had light grey decks and they were very hot. The next
boat I painted with Sears Deck and Patio
Paint, in the same pattern as the boat next to me in the boatyard. It was very good nonskid and the blue was easy on the feet and on the eyes (glare). It also held up real well and because the nonskid was chunks of latex, it didnt eat thru
weather gear">foul
weather gear. Next boat was a standard
fiberglass nonskid in beige which was hotter than the blue and was not very good nonskid. I am going to try Kiwigrip this time, but it will be in a light blue. Bright white is brutal on the eyes in the tropics. Just another opinion. Grant.
