No More Nails

Both Boston and Shelley’s and probably others, make a No Nails glue product available in a cartridge suitable for a mastic dispenser. I want to buy the equivalent in Bali. Can anybody tell what it will be called, a photo would be great. PS It is not for a marine application but for a friend’s DIY house project.

Re: No More Nails

In Oz it is sold as “liquid nails”. Not sure if that helps?

Re: No More Nails

There are three main types of construction adhesives in common use:
- traditional solvent-based
- water-based latex
- polyurethane adhesives.
The latex is the newest formulation, growing in popularity as more states and municipalities move toward requiring Low-VOC (less toxic) or No-VOC products to be used in home construction. This is also leading the trend of reduced VOC solvent-based adhesives. Polyurethanes are already classified as Low-VOC.

eg Common examples:
“Liquid Nails” offers solvent-based Heavy Duty and latex Subfloor and Deck adhesives.
“Loctite” PL Premium and Fast Grab Premium are polyurethane adhesives.
