Newport 16 Parts Source Needed

First time on the forum. I have an old Newport 16, I think it morphed into the Gloucester 16 in later life. Old enough that it does not have a hull number. Somehow an ear broke off the cast aluminum mast foot. Does anyone know of a source for replacement parts? I will try to attach a picture.

Hi,

Try this site for an alternative "step" for your mast: Dwyer Aluminum Mast Company- Manufacturers of Quality Sailboat Masts, Booms, Hardware and Rigging Since 1963.. This is the "step that is on my Newport 16.

I have a Holder 14 that has the same type of "step" that is on your Newport 16 and I prefer the "step" that I referenced above. It is quicker and easier to step the mast without having to insert a pin or bolt through the mast.

Here is another "step" you might want to consider: Mast Step Hinge Assemblies

Good luck.

Thanks, that will work well. It's interesting that the piece that bolts to the boat is dimensioned in decimals, and the pin through the mast is fractional.
