New Deck for Coronado 41

Does anyone have any advice for fabricating a new deck for a Coronado 41? I'm looking for a good live-a-board but have little money. I have found this Coronado and I am pretty good with my hands, but know very little about constucting a deck. Would it be worth the time to put in it. Is there any other resources you could point me to.

Thanks

Do you mean an entirely new deck? As in the boat has no deck at all? If so, forget about it. You would be wasting your money, even if the boat was free and you had free help.

If you mean that the deck needs some repair like new core (the Coronado's had major wet core problems), then this is more easily done - particularly since that boat has flat decks.

I see you are up this way. I think that hull has been around a long long time if it's the one without a deck. I'm sorry to say there's no way to salvage that boat within any kind of reasonable $. You'd be better off with a smaller boat that needs a lot of work but floats and has a deck and other stuff.....

What?! A free boat and free help not worth the money?...
Well, it looks like everyone agrees. I'll keep looking.
