Re: new chain-plate attachment

I figured i'd put a pic of what i did. That's 2415 style 38oz stitch mat and 1" plywood. I put 4 overlapping layers on the inside and outside of the plywood. Stainless strap that is 1/4" thick by 2.5" wide will come down and overlap the bulkhead in the front. Those little cutouts are so i can get in there and make sure no air pockets are trapped during layup. I also ground out paint to the left and right and later on, laid large section of 1708 overlapping whats there already. Its a laminating resin that got sticky after wiping with styrene. It might be an overkill, but better safe then sorry.
