New bee's 85 Lancer 27ps

Good day and thank you for accepting me as a member ! I am COMPLETELY new to the world of sailboats. I have recently acquired a 85 Lancer 27ps. It is going to require some restoration, and some refitting, to make it sea worthy. I would GREATLY appreciate any input that anyone might have. I know that there are ways to improve the vessel's sailability but I do not know what they are specifically . I would also appreciate and data information that anyone might be able to steer me to. What have found has been limited, to say the least. I look forward to your replies. Thank you
