cat also kills unwanted visitors who invade his territory--hasnt gotten a human but he is working on that lil problem....

The problem is that the cat is grown and the puppy not; cats are much better coordinated than a dog is.

Even so, both my cats ended up in the water. One kept her cool and saved herself quite well. The other made a series of bad choices and if several people hadn't been around would surely have drowned.

I don't think for one moment the one cat I have now (gave the other one away) would fall in or even jump in, but puppies are so excitable, and just not nerly as well coordinated. I wouldn't have a puppy without netting.

On my boat the netting is for me, not a pet. With my poor leg coordination, I crawl to the bow if it's rough and I have to go up there.

Oh yeah. Lifeline netting would never keep a cat on a boat.

I would have put up black had I known of its existence. I have white Pfifertex around the cockpit (removable of course).

It gets dirty AND it's hard to clean.

Re: Need Puppy-Proof Lifeline Netting (Cheap)

Oh, it worked. All day the thread did not show the picture I posted, that is why I tried again. I gave up after a while. I worked on the port netting, took a nap, took a peek at CF to see what's hanging, and lo and behold the picture are there. So, sorry for the duplicate. Here is a half done picture, kinda comparing with/without visibility
