Material for Windlass Backing Plate ?

Seller's already told me he thinks surveys and document co's are BS and to save my money.

What's that loud bell ringing??? I think it might be a BS alarm! If I had a prospective seller lay that trip on me I'd be REALLY worried! He may be ok, but those sorts of statements smack of a scam trying to happen.

So, be careful!

It should be stainless stell or most preferred,GPO-3 fiberglass sheet the thickness of which is dependent upon the size of the windlass
