Looking for Pinet Roller Catches.

On my 33 foot sloop I have a bunch of roller catches that hold compartments, vanity doors, and similar small hatches closed.

Those catches are of the roller type made by a company called Pinet.

Since the boat is a Dufour made in France, those catches come from somewhere in Europe.

I only need a couple.

I contacted the manufacturer and they do have one distributor in the states known as Onruon. I’ve tried to call that distributor and haven’t had any response.

Does anybody know where these types of roller catches can be obtained? And yes the manufacturer will send them at $65 worth of shipping to the states. I don’t really want to pay that kind of money for shipping if I can help it.

Thanks.

Michael

Re: Looking for Pinet Roller Catches.

I ordered Pinet latches from Allied Electronics last year. Looking at the web site, it appears they are still in business.

https://www.alliedelec.com/

If you don’t have the Pinet part numbers, I used this site.

https://www.pinet-webstore.fr/en/?iso_code=US

I then entered the part numbers in the Allied Electronics site and ordered.

There was a shipping charge but nothing like €65. It did take a couple of weeks to get the parts. I guess it depends on what they have in stock.

Good luck.
