Looking for an enclosure for winter refit

Hi all,

We are about to haul out our 64' classic ketch for the winter and we are looking to erect an enclosure around the yacht (masts will be removed) so we can protect her during the worst of the winter weather and then work on her during the spring (painting/varnishing etc.).

The yard are happy for us to do this so now we're down to options, I have found only one company online which will do 'any size' carport style enclosures (we are looking at 20'w x 70' l x 20' height or thereabouts).

Has anyone done similar or know of a good company that can help. We are in Deltaville VA.

Big thanks

Karen

Karen--

Take a look at the edition of Good Old Boat from last month. They had an article on building an enclosure such as what you need of light weight framing and plastic sheeting that was very inexpensive and easily constructed that might suite your needs.

FWIW...

Look at Shelters of America. We have had them stand up to near hurricane winds.
