LiquiGlide - anti-foul possibility?

I wonder if this coating has any possibilities for anti-fouling?

LiquiGlide
Quote:
Price: 25˘ per bottle (estimated)

Five MIT students and their professor Kripa Varanasi have come up with a way to make a surface that anything will slide off—from ketchup out of bottles to ice off airplane wings. The plant-based product adds a microscopic slippery coating to almost any material—glass, ceramic, metal or plastic.

Damn interesting. When will a boat magazine test this?

Our books have gotten 5 star reviews on Amazon. Several readers have written "I never thought I would go on a circumnavigation, but when I read these books, I was right there in the cockpit with Vinni and Carsten"

Re: LiquiGlide -- anti-foul possibility?

If anything will slide off of it, how will a boat bottom stay attached to it?

Probably the same way that the adhesive on cellophane tape stays stuck on one side, but not the other side.
