Lewmar Rubber seal loose

The rubberseal on our Lewmar portlight has gone loose.

All tips on how to fasten it are welcome Click image for larger version

My quick reply: neoprene glue. Follow the instructions, apply to both sides, wait 10-15 minutes so glue is dry on touching, then press hard together in the final position. No repositioning is possible!

I've done exactly that with my Maxwell ports and I used a contact adhesive (which appears to be what you used).
