Keel Bolts - Beneteau Idylle 51

I have an 86 Beneteau Idylle 51 that needs its keel bolts done. Heads are getting skinny so best to get it before they are gone.


Are there any Idylle 51 owners out there that have done this. I am looking for some tips about bolt placement and count if possible.



I am thinking to use an impact gun to break the old ones loose and replace them one at a time.



I have a torque multiplier that will allow me to get the required torques.



Probably an easy job if not for the removal of the motor and disassembly of some of the interior and removal of the main water tank.. ouch!


Any info appreciated.
