JP3 Rudder bearing leaking/questions
Hi,
A catamaran I bought last winter has JP3 rudder bearings that have a slow steady leak. Is this a traditional stuffing box type seal that has a packing rope? It looks like the plate/flange on top unscrews, but I want to have the necessary re packing material before I go messing with it.
