isotherm electronic control

Anyone able to help me with an electronic control for an Isotherm Sp 2351. It has three wires coming out of it. One blue, one brown with jumper, and one that looks like plastic sheathed solder that I'm guessing is a temperature probe. My problem is the instructions say nothing about where it goes. There is some kind of plastic covered copper tube on the compressor that I thought it might push into but I'd like to know for sure before I have another "oh ****" moment.
