Intro and need a little help!!!

My name is Duane preferred to be called that as opposed to a screen name. I have a 33' Yawl (class is a Tavanna) which was layed up by Dooly Glander in 1973. Truly love to sail. Boat currently in my back yard undergoing rehab.

My need for help is that I have a new (old) Gemini model AAQ182 compas. New because is has neven been used (still in the box) old because it was purchased prior to 1973. I wish to install it in the boat, but have lost the instructions for aligning same. If anyone can provide any information I would sure appreciate it.

The Aquameter Gemini compass was originally manufactured by the Aquameter Compass Co. of New Jersey. Aquameter was sold to Rule Industries, the maker of Danforth compasses in the 1990's.The Gemini compass was updated and included in the Danforth Constellation line of instruments as the 4-1/2" Constellation Compass.
Try contacting Danforth for instructions:

Welcome aboard Duane.

As you have just discovered Gord is the definitive database on all things Nautical (and not nautical) around here.

I don't think he's a real guy. He's a cray computer hooked up to terabytes of starage space.
