Interior panels: Lagoon and Fountaine Pajot

Ahoy pirates.

I know the interiors of most modern catamarans are like visiting Ikea with the pros and cons derived. I am curious to see if someone could shed some light into what are the materials of the "nice looking" interior panels.

Are they synthetic or real wood panels? how thick are they? Where to buy such panels in the USA?

Jus looking for a durable solution for interior panels that can endure humidity in the Caribbean.

Most are reconstituted wood veneer made by a company called Alpi in Italy. I'm not sure that's what was used here, but it's a good starting point to find a match.

White, tan or grey, 4X8' or 4 X10', pebble grain PVC/fiberglass sheets from home depot often used as shower surrounds.

We did our entire boat with it.

You can also take a good look at inside and out of these panels as Collin demolishes and fix his Lagoon in several episodes of Parlay Revival on YT.

drilling is extremely easy.
Cutting is also extremely accurate and easy. I use one of these ... https://www.amazon.com/s?k=oscillati...f=nb_sb_noss_1

They use these panels in commercial bathrooms, so if I saw it on the inside of a boat, I would probably need to use the bathroom. I would prefer flat sheets.

You know, I have been thinking about getting one of those but just could not justify it. The more I see the easier it is getting to justify

I have glued matte white Formica to bulkheads before, but Formica is becoming super-expensive.

I have to agree. I have a couple of sheets of that stuff here that I cant find a use for. Even if I see it in a commercial bathroom I find myself thinking : "that's a cheap coverup". In a head only it would be OK I suppose maybe. Also, it is quite heavy compared with wood panels.... at least mine is as it's like 1/4" thick. Don't know if they make it thinner and flat / not so bumpy.
