Installing a remote oil filter

I'm plannning to relocate the engine oil filter of my yammer 3gm30f, through a remote oil filter filter kit. The current location is inconvenient. Any thoughts on mounting height of new location, or any reason why this would be a bad idea.

The oil is pressurized until it falls back into the sump, so you are not in danger of sucking air by a higher mounting. You are replacing the old filter, so your oil capacity won't change much. Most important, put it where you will change it.
