How to fix a seam?

I have a Telstar 28 that the previous owner and original owner have told me has trouble with the amas leaking. I am hoping to seal all seams and replace all the seals in the inspection plates and access door.

The seam on the inside of the ama is joined with some type of glue that I suspect is the culprit. Here are a couple of picture of the area? Any of you old salts have any ideas on a good way to address this?
