one gallon of anything will cover 1600 sq/ft one mil thick. To calculate how much
paint you will need, figure the sq footage of your bottom and then how many coats of
paint you will be putting on. When you roll
bottom paint, figure 2-3 mils of paint per coat. This will tell you exactly how many gallons or quarts of paint you will need.
With 3 coats, that would make 6 mils of paint. 1600/6 = 266 sq/ft of coverage.
