Help with closure fitting on storage cabinet door

The storage cabinets behind the starboard settee in my Pearson-35 hinge on the bottom and closes on the top with a fitting that involves a pin that fits into a tube (please see the attached photos).

In one of these cabinets the tube structure on the top has broken. To date I have been unable to find a replacement.

If anyone is aware of somewhere to find these fittings, or can suggest something else that could work, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

"Friction" door catch, also seen it called a bulldog catch I think, here's a couple, don't know if they are same size or full replacement required. They may be found among RV parts dealers also.

Re: Help with closure fitting on storage cabinet door

It is a Perko 559 door catch but I think they discontinued it. Seadog also made one that looked identical but I didn’t see it on their website. Page 168 https://www.perko.com/legacy_catalog/cat295.php

You might be able to use a Perko 554 as a replacement.

Re: Help with closure fitting on storage cabinet door

Thanks for the quick replies.
It seems that you can still get the Perko 559s online. I think it is time for me to stock up!

Thanks again!
