Help matching teak veneer

Hi - I have to replace some teak veneer panels on my yachts electrical panels as I am rewiring and replacing switches etc. The existing teak is very golden in colour and some veneer I acquired is much more Brown. Nobody stocks veneer in this part of the world. Any one tried to lighten up the colour to match older panels ? Can you try a lighter stain under varnish ? I can order veneer online but given cost it is not a great option. Any help appreciated.

Forgetaboutit.

Your interior teak has been sun bleached since new. Stain will not lighten the natural color of teak. You might try bleaching it to get a closer match. Or just wait for the sun to do it for you.
