Help identifying deck hardware

I bought a Rafiki 37 in January and have been doing a refit. Came to these (photo below), and am not sure what they are. I thought the were vents for the engine room, but they don't vent. Are they just caps, or something else? Anyone have an idea on what these are?

Re: Help identifying deck hardware

Plugs for a Naval Pipe? (AKA chain pipe) Plugs for removable Dorade vents? I've never seen one of these before, so I'm just guessing.

They are mushroom vents. Screw into a deck plate. The tee handle in the cabin. Turn to rase or lower the top mushroom top. Use for ventalation. But wont keep water out like a dorad.

Re: Help identifying deck hardware

They haven't been opened in awhile, so seemed frozen. Just got them to open and close. Pretty cool, and will clean up beautifully. Not gonna sell em, as they go with all the other brass and bronze on this boat. Can't believe what a great design this Rafiki is. Bought it on an auction, but have been pleasantly surprised with everything about it. Not the fastest boat I've owned, but definitely the smoothest in weather.
