Head Rebuild Question

I need to do some work on my head...FUN!

Should the hoses on the head ideally be single runs, except obviously where there needs to be a valve or a T?

You know, as opposed to what I currently have, which is 100 short hoses with 100 elbows.

The less connections the better.
The fewer hard bends the better.

That's what I figured. Just like in diving, less parts = less failure points.

There are a few unavoidable tight sharp turns I need to make, but even those I should be able to do with a single piece of hose instead of a billion fittings.

Just finished my sanitation (everything replaced from tank to head ) Those sharp bends are the pits. The trident black w/green stripe sanitation hose seems to work best for bend radius (though not much). Bought the super Odorsafe plus hose but had to return it because the bend radius was just unworkable for the tight area behind the head. I had a Gemini 105 but cant remember the head plumbing config (selective amnesia )

Really the only tough one is the bend from the bottom of the pump to go behind the head. I'm thinking worst case I could use an elbow there, but right now there's an elbow for almost every turn.
