Haul or Slip

Traveling North from Grenada I plan to leave my boat for three to four weeks at a time. I have had damage done in slips. Two Questions.
1. Is it hard on a Beneteau 47 to haul and secure on land?
2. Is it ridiculous to haul for a three weeks of non use, or better to leave in a slip.

If it was here (Florida panhandle) you would pay close to $1,000 to pull and put back. I have to guess you would be better off with lots of bumpers in a slip.
