Good Repair Material for Blisters?

So now I have our Cal 29 bottom mostly stripped of old bottom paint and naturally it shows up quite a few blisters (mostly BB size with a few dime size and 2 or 3 quarter size. I have read enough about blister repair to know the basics of it, but there is almost too much information on the subject of proper technique and materials to use.
My question is this: Once I have the blisters opened up and washed out and dried for a while, what is the best (or at least a good) material to use to fill the blisters before I add the barrier coat? I have decided to use Interlux Interprotect 2000 as the barrier coat.

Are you going to grind out the blisters to get you back to a good solid base? thats what i did then just mixed up epoxy and micro balloons to use as fill.

As above but get the "fairing compound " type filler. Some types of coloidal or micro baloon fillers can be very hard, making the sand to smooth a pain.

Yes, I will grind out the blisters to open them, clean them and let them dry. On the smallest blisters I will try using a countersink as this has been recommended to me for small blisters.
Any thoughts or comments will be appreciated.
Thanks
