Gas Fuel Tank Installation

Is it really necessary to follow the ABYC installation suggestions? Are there Coast Guard regulations that have to be followed?

Yes! B/c if you ever get boarded by the USCG (and you will) they may sight you. And if you want insurance, it'll have to pass a survey.
And if you want to prevent fires/explosions you'll follow procedures.

ABYC get a lot of their regulations from the USCG CFRs.

Re: Gas Fuel Tank Installation

Thanks for the link delmarrey. Looks like my installation passes if I add second hose clamps to the fuel fill hose.
