Galvanizing in Virginia

Anyone know of a galvanizing plant (preferably with a shaker) which can take small amounts (200ft 3/8" chain plus an anchor) within a day's drive of Deltaville ?

Not tried the suggested plant yet, but got this response from the IG facility at Petersburg, VA :-

Unfortunately we do not galvanize chain, and do not have a shaker. Although if you need any assistance in future galvanizing projects I would be more than happy to assist you. Have a great day!

Several years ago, I had several anchors, several hundred feet of 5/16 HI TEST chain, and some other stuff galvanized at Virginia Galvanizing Corporation. The more pounds of 'stuff', the cheaper it gets, and they do a great job. Unloaded my pickup, and about a week later, loaded all the newly galvanized stuff into my pickup - it was even loaded and strapped to a wood pallet! Give them a call and get the rates. Still cheaper than new chain. Be sure to check to see how worn the chain is.... VA Gal. is just off I-95 north of Richmond.

Just spoke to Virginia Galvanizing. They confirmed that they can do chain and turn round in about 4 - 5 days.

Minimum order is $350.

Sound like nice helpful guys (on the phone at least).

Now .... anyone in Deltaville with a pickup want to buy in with me ......
