Froli vs Slat Systems

Good day. I am interested in hearing from anyone who has compared (and possibly tried) the Froli (Froli Sleep Systems) and a slat type system like Neptune Mattress Slat System.

The price variance is fairly large for the same size spot. While there have been a number of links on the forum to both and I was hoping someone has actually tried both for a comparison. I am planning to put these under the v-berth and the quarter birth on my IP31.

I am also curious if people are putting anything under interior settee cushions - day to day, such as hypervent hypervent/ or even DriDek Dri-Dek Tiles, Sheets & Rolls (or Dri Dek like) materials Easy Tile® 12x12in

I installed the Froli system in the forward berth and am impressed; it is also adjustable by zones (either by changing the distance between the supports or adding plastic springs to make supports firmer).

Ditto what zanshin said. The froli system is great and because it is modular it is easy to fit it in to any shape berth and can be adjusted for firmness in different areas. Took about an hour to install for me.

We liveaboard and have used the froli system for 2 years now. I immediately noticed a difference in comfort. Now I can sleep in and not have sore shoulders or hips. Our moisture problem is basically zero now, when I do get a little moisture it goes away all on it's own. Has to be extremely cold outside to get some moisture at the foot of the bed. But again it dries out all on its own and I have no more wet sheets at all ever!!! But I must say that my entire V-Berth/Boat has 1/2" closed cell foam on the hull and cabin top, basically everywhere. It easily made a 10 degree difference and really stops moisture, it is beteween my overhead and deck and the wood slats on the hull. I only bring this up because you should at least do the V-Berth area to truely sleep in comfort. Love, absolutely love the froli sleep system. Easy to install and adjust for comfort.

Good information and very timely. This year has been the worst winter for us a liveaboards and moisture/condensation has become a problem for the first time. I looked and the links provided by Keffa and noted that although the Neptune slat system, although initially cheaper than the Frioli system, I would need to buy 2 kits for the size of my V-Berth....
