I'll take them and send them as soon as I get home. The local mast guy is supposed to step them for me sometime this week, weather permitting. I wish I could get before and after pics, but that seems unlikely. I am curious about what the liner is doing during all of this. It is relatively flexible, and may show some movement as well. I wish that particular bulkhead, or any of them, were tied across the top. Now you have me really curious.

Interestingly, I have noticed a small stress fracture running port/starboard in the headliner. It is a hairline fracture about 1' long and has not progressed in a couple of years. The fracture, (incidentally?), is exactly between the head and the stand up locker, where the bulkhead slipped.

Actually a literal "interest" (i.e.partnership). He's definitly moving to Ft. Lauderdale, if all goes according to his plan, and I get left in South Texas; boatless. Maybe I can talk him out of the Catalina 22....

I pressured it back by wedging planks in the door frame and used 5200 to reseal the bead, but t pulled away again. I marked the point where it receded to last year and it has not moved any further in a season and one half. I have also had our yard fiberglass guru, who is very good, look at it and he said to leave it be, it is just age and that it would be more sensible to just shave 1/8" off the door so that it would close again rather that try and move the bulkhead back. He found no gross instability. I have also recenetly begun noticing eary creeks, which I am not sure if they are coming from the deck stepped mast cup, or the main support bean which lies beneath it and is concealed neatly within the confines of the deck. (Do you know if there is supposed to be a bearing or gasket of some sort in the mast cup? I have nothing in there and the mast sits directly on the cup).
Hi, I know this post is quite old but I wonder how your separating bulkhead issue was resolved, if indeed it was. I'm looking at a Bristol 34 with the same issue.
