Finally got my toolbox installed

Had this one in the works for a while, but i had to remove my old dc genset to make the room, anyhow I am a happy man today! With it I can finally have a good spot and some organization to my tools rather then being in one of 3 drawers at various locations on the boat. It's a stainless box with ballbearing drawers so it should hold up well.

It's bolted in with the same bolts the generator was bolted down with so i'm not too worried, I'm 100% sure if they held the genset in they can hold the box in :S

That's funny because I have a Craftsman tool box just like that onboard except it is blue, and yeah, it is bolted down. The drawers have a latch that holds them in place so they don't open on their own. Having a nice tool chest like this sure comes in handy.

Well you see my hope is here that it being so close and convenient that i won't need to use any of them in the engine room I'm hoping to trick murphy into being on my side this time!

Removed, we've got a little honda we run onboard when needed, the DC genset was way too loud you couldn't stand to be in the boat or even on the boat. If I ever do go with another inboard I would put it in the aft storage compartment, not the engine room.

Sometimes all we have is hope. When the shop is slow I pull out some wood for Imagine, and start sanding. 10 minutes later in drives a customer

Oh I've had the privilage of bleeding the injectors in the middle of the gulf stream in that room, not near as much fun as it sounds

I've been spending the day filling, i have definitely some to the conclusion as much as i hate the cheesy socket racks that I will fit much more in one drawer with them.... like all my sockets.

Just found your site and am impressed with the amount of ferro content.I sail a Hartley RORC 32 out of Manly Harbour,QLD.I would be interested in views on excessive weatherhelm on this design apart from the obvious sail trim and balance,Has anybody out there tried taking the sail plan forward by means of a small stayed bowsprit with any success.
