Filling Screw Holes in King Starboard

Does anyone know of a reliable way to fill King Starboard (1/2" or 5/8" thick) countersunk screw holes that will not pop or fall out?

Thanks...

Counterbore your counter sinks an extra 1/4" deep, then use a plug cutter to cut bungs out of 1/4" sheet and set them in Plexus. You can even sand flush.

Hey Minaret, have you done that before? Are you getting a hard bond?

Also, do you have to flame treat the surface before gluing?
