Well, I guess the galley sink wouldn't be considered .

I doubt think threats of violence, even in jest, are ever funny. Except for http://youtu.be/dhRUe-gz690.

I have done this for years... Started on land when i was unable to climb my steps to my upstairs bathroom. I left a jug under kitchen sink, and after use , it would be down the drain it goes. My only suggestion to you is . " a cup of bleach in sink from time to time will help clean out drain . Happy PEEEEEING !!!!!!

Ram and OceanGirl . . . Therapy was politely pointing out that the long site-rip about the 1500s hooey is Urban Legend / Myth / BS that was put together by a creative person or persons with nothing better to do than take advantage of the gullible.
It's a side effect of anonymous internet participation, sadly, which proves the wisdom of David_Old_Jersey's great line:

Re: Dump Airhead urine in galley sink?
I was unable to read through this entire thread, but only managed the first five and the last three pages. I was concerned about some misinformation that included the statements that urine is not biodegradable, that it does not contain ammonia, and that it is harmfull to the environment.
Urine is generally sterile and recommended for rinsing and cleaning a wound when a clean source of water is not available. Urine does contain ammonia, but it is compounded with carbon-dioxide to form urea. Urine is totally biodegradable and non-toxic in the volumes considered in this topic. Urine is mostly water and includes salts, minerals and urea (ammonia & CO2). Twelve ounces of urea has the nutrient level equal to the averrage leaf that falls into the water from a tree and negligible when compared to the potential nutrient pollution of feces.
Regardless of anyone's disgust with the manner in which someone disposes of urine, it does not represent a threat to health or the environment.

One solution I'm considering is to simply dump the urine down the galley sink (eliminated head sink) and flush with a little water. Sounds pretty disgusting I know, but whenever Leslie is not on the boat to protest it may be the perfect solution. You are all invited to breakfast on my boat by the way.
Does anyone with a composting toilet do this? Do odors develop over time? Am I too disgusting to live?
The other solution would be to plumb the urine to a holding tank and pump it overboard which seems to defeat the whole point of a composting toilet huh?
All suggestions for a solution to this problem welcome!

I just had to go back to see how this started. Who would have thought such a question would result in so many responses.
But then if I were inclined to dump pee down the gallery sink I just don't think it would ever have crossed my mind to ask for input. Kind of like asking if it is OK to pee while taking a shower!
