Dull table - how to improve looks

My table top looking dull. I've tried using Old English Lemon Oil but it still looks dull. Suggestions?

You want gloss without re-coating? Try some 800 grit sandpaper.

If it's not Formica covered varnish it.
I have used 3M Finesse It with a foam drill mounted wheel on shiny guitar finishes and it works great. Never tried it on normal varnish. It polishes to a shine in literally 10 seconds.

I have the same problem with the teak in my cabin. Everything I’ve tried that that gives it any shine nice fades away quickly. I’ve just resigned to the fact that I’ll be doing a lot of varnishing this fall/spring.
