Dryer Sheets

So Im replacing à.bimini on a boat, and while taking the old one down, these pieces of cloth started falling out.
. Couldnt figure what the heck they were, so I asked the customer..
He told me that the pieces I found were dryer sheets, you know the things that make your cloths smell pretty...
He went on to say those smelly things that are used in dryers, keep the bugs , spiders, birds and anything else from setting up housekeeping in the little nooks and craneys of your boat..
He was right, stuffed them into all those little places, no bugs, spiders, and the birds arnt nesting in my sails
Who would have thunk it..........

Yeah, a buddy of mine tried that.

The next day, he saw squirrels running around the yard with mothballs in their mouths! Apparently this is an old wive's tale.
