Dodger and Bimini

So, after a few years it is time to replace the Dodger and Bimini and I am having thoughts. Part of me is thinking just replace what I have with the normal Sunbrella style or.... take a moment and build a hard dodger and bimini. I know they both have their pros and cons but I am seeing more pros with the hard bimini and dodger than cons. The thing I am trying to figure out is what to use for the core. The plan is to put about 600 to 800 watts of solar on top as well as some cockpit lights on the underside. Does anyone have thoughts on what would be the material to use?
